Avoiding the demographic crunch: Labour supply and the ageing workforce

This policy report, published in conjunction with the International Longevity Centre UK and drawing on data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS), looks at how forward thinking employers can adapt to a more age diverse workforce. It looks at the workforce challenge of ageing for a range of different industry sectors and the various methods, including inclusive recruitment, flexible working and training and development, employers can use to improve productivity among an ageing demographic.
