REBA Founders’ Day gets the network going

New membership organisation, Reward & Employee Benefits Association (REBA) held its very first event in July.The event, REBA Founders’ Day, was attended by 60 leading reward and employee benefits directors from large, well-known UK and global companies. Sponsoring partners included: Aon, Close Brothers, Metlife, Personal Group, Towers Watson and Unum.The main focus of the day was on networking while the conference sessions looked at how the future will impact benefits.Debi O’Donovan, founder of REBA said: “I was very pleased with how our first event went. We got fantastic feedback on the day as well as lots of ideas for our next event.”“There was a real feeling of community to the day that we will build on.”REBA’s aims are simple: To help the market to connect  and share, to provide really useful information and to provide help and support.Membership is free for HR, reward and benefits professionals, while everyone in the industry is welcome to sign up the REBA’s weekly email, REBA Express.Reward and employee benefits directors from leading companies such as Capital One, Thales, Cisco, Sky and TUI Travel have already signed up as members on the reba.global website. This is the UK's first dedicated professional association for those involved in reward and employee benefits – either within an HR role, or as a benefits or reward specialist.
