Barnett Waddingham believe that there are six pillars of employee wellbeing that impact on an employees and indeed a workforces productivity, engagement and commitment.

Carl Chapman, Head of Workplace Health at Barnett Waddingham comments “Wellbeing is nearly always associated to just health but in truth wellbeing is much more than that, we believe there are six distinct areas that are the foundations for good wellbeing, job security, financial security, health, protection, support and work/life balance”.

“Corporate wellbeing certainly appears to be a hot topic right now, it is often cited that more companies than ever before are engaging in wellbeing; but is that really true and are they engaging in more than just health?

"Are their specific industries that are ahead of the curve? What are those early adopters doing in regards to corporate wellbeing? What is the employers perception of the future of private medical insurance?," he asks.

These are a few of the questions that we would like to find out and as a result we have built an employer survey which aims to understand companies across a range of industries.

Our inaugural ‘Corporate wellbeing index’ survey is made up of 20 questions, will take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and our supporting report will be available to all participants.
