Video tutorial: How to better integrate existing technology in benefits, pension and reward

Knowing the difference between flash in the pan gimmicks and those which will truly provide the streamlined and best outcomes for employees is a hard task when it comes to understanding technology, said Dipa Mistry Kandola, head of flexible benefits at LCP.

Speaking at the REBA Innovation Day she said that employers often use technology to push out what they want to, rather than what the employees actually want.

She said employers need to go back to focus on the user journey and user experience to prioritise the things they want today whilst overlaying the messages that HR people need to get out too. “If we can get this right our people are hooked on the things they care about allowing you to talk about the things you care about as HR people,” she said.

Her colleague Thomas Porter, senior partner at LCP, discussed how to do more with existing technology and how to better integrate your benefits, pension and reward technology and the need to move away from the concept of single, big IT projects.
