Video tutorial: Using data and insight to demonstrate how reward strategies drive business success

Today the critical thing in reward and benefits is how you work with your peers, according to Linda Kennedy-McCarthy, group HR director of SIG Group. “You can have the best solution, the best data, the best analytics but if you as reward people can’t influence, can’t drive change, can’t engage the business then it doesn’t matter how good you are technically you just won’t be able to get the traction,” she said.

Speaking at the REBA Innovation Day she described how to work and engage at a senior level and said it was about bringing knowledge and skills to bear, becoming a key member of the team and how you influence at the senior level.

She was speaking in the same session as Jordan Pettman, global head of people data, analytics and planning at Nestlé who outlined how Nestlé was using data and insight to demonstrate how reward strategies drive business success and specifically the role of people analytics within his business.
