- The employment rate (the proportion of people aged from 16 to 64 years who were in work) was 75.7 per cent, the highest since comparable records began in 1971.
- Average weekly earnings for employees in nominal terms (not adjusted for price inflation) increased by 2.7 per cent excluding bonuses, and by 2.5 per cent including bonuses, compared with a year earlier.
- LAverage weekly earnings for employees in real terms (adjusted for price inflation) increased by 0.4 per cent excluding bonuses, and by 0.2 per cent including bonuses, compared with a year earlier.
