Survey: Surviving or Thriving? The state of the UK's mental health
Key findings:
- Only 13% of people report living with high levels of good mental health.
- Nearly two-thirds of people say they have experienced a mental health problem. This rises to seven in every 10 women, young adults aged 18 to 34 and people living alone.
- Around two-thirds of those in paid employment report that they have experienced a mental health problem (61% of people in full-time employment).
- 13% of those in paid employment report current experience of negative mental health.
