Mark Rowlands, director of customer engagement at NEST, shares three main duties of a pension provider when it comes to helping members get the best outcome.

Rowlands believes that good outcomes are driven as a function of three things. The first is the contribution going in, the second is the investment growth after charges, and the third is how you convert that to spending.

“All of those three things need to be underpinned by great service to the member, and good communications so they understand,” said Rowlands.
