Practical steps to take in a fragmented regulatory landscape across countries
Although the 7 June deadline for implementing the EU Pay Transparency Directive has flown past, the fragmented regulatory landscape means that most (perhaps all) employers are still working out what is critical to implement now and what needs to wait. Balancing compliance against vital reward objectives is also now a challenge.
In this webinar we will explore what reward professionals are prioritising as they try to comply with emerging regulations that differ country-to-country within the EU. We take a look at the role of key reward practices that can help ease this herculean process, and how they can support effective communication and engagement with stakeholders and employees
The panel will discuss how they are tackling ongoing implementation, while at the same time keeping their focus on reward objectives in a constantly changing business environment.
Key issues to be explored
• How can employers prioritise compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive when it cannot all be done at once
• Effective aspects to focus on that will both enable compliance and meet reward objectives
• The importance of doing the groundwork: how job architecture, role profiles and progression metrics make compliance easier
• Ways to communicate changes (or delays in changes) to internal stakeholders and employees
• What practical steps can be taken when you’re falling behind in compliance
