Address

The entrance to etc. Venues County Hall is on Belvedere Road – please note this IS NOT on the river side of the building, Belvedere Road runs parallel to the river to the rear of the building. The door to the venue is situated in the middle of the building, halfway down Belvedere Road opposite Forum Magnum Square. The nearest stations to the venue are Waterloo and Westminster – both a pleasant 5-minute walk away.

Summit Support

The whole of the REBA Team will be onsite to support your workshop; you’ll have a dedicated room manager and the team available at the registration desk on floor 3.

AV

 Presentations are not recommended. If used, they should only be used for a maximum of 3 slides, as REBA workshops are a discussion-based format.

There is a digital screen (1920 x 1080 / 16:9 ratio) within your workshop room for your use. This is HDMI compatible – please ensure that you bring with you any leads / connectors you need to attach your laptop (and remember your laptop charger!)

Here is how to connect your laptop to the screen:

  1. Connect the HDMI cable end to your laptop's HDMI output.
  2. Connect the other end of the wire to the screen’s HDMI input.
  3. Select the input corresponding to the location of the cable using the remote control (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, etc.).

Please note, there is no dedicated AV person to support on-site, but your REBA room manager will be on hand to assist should you have any issues.


Badges

Badges will be available for collection from the registration area of the event upon arrival on floor 3 (lower floor). Please ensure that you have confirmed the names of your representatives coming on-site with [email protected]


Deliveries & Returns

Delivery and return details will be shared here, as well as via email 4 weeks ahead of event day to allow enough time for preparations.

As a reminder, each sponsor can bring a maximum of two pop-up freestanding signs and literature for distribution in their workshop room (we recommend 25-30 copies to have a few spare). Please do let [email protected] know if you will be sending any parcels to the venue including when they will arrive and what their contents is. No collateral to be taken to the conference or lunch space for the seated lunch. In the event of any missing parcels, please have photographic proof of delivery available for the venue to locate the items.


Health & Safety

Emergency Procedures - IN CASE OF A FIRE OR FIRE ALARM

Sponsors and Delegates simply need to exit the venue using the nearest fire exit and reach the assembly point situated at: Forum Magnum Square by following the fire marshal. Venue fire marshals will take lead at each of the fire exits and will carry an “convene/etc.venues” lollipop sign. Do not use lifts. Do not delay to finish work or collect personal belongings. Do not re-enter the building until the fire evacuation co-ordinator advises that it is safe to do so.

First Aid

First Aid is available throughout the event. If you require first aid assistance, please contact the organisers or main reception.


Furniture

Furniture is included in your workshop room, this will be set for 12 people, across two roundtable - 5 delegates and 1 workshop host (from your company) on each table.


Room Manager

You will have a dedicated room manager to assist you throughout the event who will be on hand for anything you need in both workshops 1 and 2. Your room manager will also provide you with a 5-minute warning by knocking on the door.
