This survey of 3,000 working parents and carers explores the evolving landscape of working parents and carers as new policies and workforce expectations contribute to shifting dynamics.

Nearly one third of working parents and carers are feeling very stressed and there is a drop in perception that their employer cares about – or will provide support for – their family responsibilities.

· 73% of working parents would consider an employer’s support for family life before accepting or applying for a promotion or a new job.

· Perception of being supported by employers is falling, from 77% (2023) to 72% (2024) to 68% in 2025.
