The Women and Equalities Committee has published a report that calls on the government to introduce mandatory ethnicity pay gap reporting.

Having examined the case for ethnicity pay gap reporting, the Committee recommends that the government should introduce mandatory ethnicity pay gap reporting by April 2023. It suggests this should apply to all organisations that currently report their gender pay gap. The report also calls on the government to clearly set out how new ethnicity pay gap reporting rules would be enforced.
