Video: REBA Innovation Day 2016: The four Ps of wellbeing

Wellbeing should focus on four Ps, according to Ry Morgan, head of wellbeing technology at Reward Gateway.

Watch the interview with Reward Gateway's Ry Morgan in full.

Speaking at the REBA Innovation Day 2016  Morgan cited the need for preventative healthcare, personalisation, proactiveness and a regard for privacy when it comes to wellbeing.

“The huge shift is going a preventative approach, helping people form healthy habits in a fun, social and engaging way which essentially means less people off sick and absent,” he said.

The more powerful mix included a personalised and proactive approach too, he said.

“Everyone is talking about preventative healthcare. That’s fine when you have tools that are preventative but it’s about when you can start to tailor solutions around what matters to the individual. There is no one size fits all solution when it comes to wellness. The needs of an individual even in the same office, let alone globally, are vast,” he says.

Ensuring a proactive approach means giving employees tips and advice before they even know they need such tools or, on the HR side, recognising potential problems before they become an issue.

However, Morgan warned about careful management of privacy of data in the quest for wellbeing.
