Video tutorial: The new reward director and increasing responsibility for wellbeing and HR tech
Reward and benefits became a focal point of the pandemic, and 96% of reward directors said they felt that the employee experience was going to become much more critical to their role over the next five years, according to Benefex's research. They are also interested in benefits that can unite their workforce.
“We’ve started to see that reward teams are playing a part in unifying people and bringing people together,” said Gethin Nadin, director – employee wellbeing at Benefex. “Clearly that’s only going to be enhanced with a hybrid workforce as we start to employ people perhaps from different countries and locations. How reward brings those people together we are seeing as being quite a big feature of benefit schemes.”
Companies are also leaning towards community wellbeing – how employers and employees can support the wider communities that we live and work in.
