This report from 3R Strategy considers the latest salary trends and data insights into global salary levels as well as the UK.
Key findings:
- Most organisations across all sectors surveyed set the same budget across all roles. While some set budgets according to level or department, relatively few do so according to union/non-union.
- Linking pay to performance is relatively uncommon among organisations in the charity and education sectors—and most common among organisations in the financial services, manufacturing, media arts and energy/utilities sectors.
- Media arts, public sector/non-profit and engineering organisations are the most likely to use a performance management process—while FMCG and real estate/construction are the least likely.
