AON report: Salary increase and turnover study

The Europe edition of the annual report finds a slight downturn in salary increases across the continent as organisations adjust to changing market conditions.

Collecting data from over 5,300 of Aon’s clients globally on employee turnover and salary budgets, the latest survey confirms that, across major European countries, salary increase percentages declined in 2025 compared to 2024.

Looking ahead, 2026 salary budgets across Europe are projected to remain broadly stable, with modest upward adjustments in some regions. However, Aon’s historical data shows that early projections often trend downward as more organisations finalise their budgets, a pattern observed in previous years’ results.
