POLL: How do you structure your severance packages

A REBA member from a large multinational is planning to merge the different ways it offers severance packages.

She would like to sense check her future proposal against what other employers and REBA members think is good practice.

To note, her current proposal is:

  • 3 week’s pay per year of service
  • annual base salary used to calculate weekly pay
  • pay-in-lieu-of-notice is not included in the calculation but is paid when notice is not given
