Report: 2018/2019 Global 50 Remuneration Planning Report

The Global 50 Remuneration Planning Report from Willis Towers Watson contains the latest pay and benefits information for 50 positions across 60 countries worldwide, and is a planning tool that enables cross-country pay comparisons.

Research: Life on Low Pay

This Living Wage Foundation research highlights the difficult choices faced by workers earning little more than the government minimum across all areas of their lives. It focuses on parents working full-time but who are still not earning a wage they can live on.

Report: External market pay and internal job evaluation: is a hybrid approach emerging?

This report article considers the UK approach to base pay setting, which straddles two main methods – job evaluation and market pay levels. Compiled by the Institute for Employment Studies, it contrasts the UK approach to that of the United States.

Government papers: Labour Market Enforcement Strategy 2018 to 2019

Several recommendations to help stop the exploitation of the lowest-paid workers have been outlined in an independent report by Sir David Metcalf. The strategy calls for large employers to share responsibility for any wrongdoing in its supply chain.
