Video: Employers' commitment to financial wellbeing is not being turned into action

Jeanette Makings, head of financial education at Close Brothers, and Professor Sir Cary Cooper of Alliance University of Manchester Business School discuss whether financial wellbeing is now on a par with mental and physical wellbeing in workplace wellbeing programmes.

"It [financial wellbeing] may be being perceived as such, but that's not following through to strategy," says Makings. "There is now a recognition that financial wellbeing is interlinked with physical and mental wellbeing, but that is not universal."

Professor Sir Cary Cooper and Jeanette Makings are among the speakers at REBA's Employee Wellbeing Congress 2019 on 20 June. Registration is now open.
