Ocado, United Utilities and Virgin Active among the financial wellbeing category Awards finalists

This year’s awards feature three financial wellbeing categories: Best Overall Financial Wellbeing Strategy; Best Approach to Day-to-Day Financial Wellbeing; and Best Approach to Long-term Financial Wellbeing.

Financial wellbeing has become a key pillar of overall wellbeing, with numerous studies highlighting the link between financial stability and wellness. It connects with every aspect of wellbeing, from the ability to socialise with colleagues after work, to ensuring a sound night’s sleep.

Best Overall Financial Wellbeing Strategy   

This award recognises employers that have a well thought through strategy, employee benefits or financial services in place to encourage and promote ongoing financial wellness among all of their employees.

Best Approach to Day-to-Day Financial Wellbeing   

This award recognises employers who have built strategies to support employees’ day-to-day financial wellbeing. That might be in response to known challenges that the workforce is facing, or to help all employees improve their financial resilience and make their pay go further. 

 The finalists are:

  • University of Lincoln
  • Virgin Active

Best Approach to Long-term Financial Wellbeing   

This award celebrates businesses that have successfully got employees thinking about their long-term financial wellbeing, particularly retirement and pensions.

  • The Royal Bank of Scotland Group

REBA’s Employee Wellbeing Awards 2020 will take place on 5 March. The invitation-only event will include an exclusive afternoon of peer-to-peer workshops and an evening awards ceremony where all the winners will be announced.
