How reward leaders are driving preventative health strategies
The new REBA Acumen report, UK Benefits Comparison Series: Preventative health and screening benefits (December 2025), shows how many employers currently fund comprehensive health screenings, health assessments, condition-specific screenings, genomic testing, flu vaccinations, virtual GPs and onsite clinical services.
It highlights the level of employee take-up of the preventative health benefits on offer, plus the median cost-per-head to the employer, the proportion of employees who pay for the benefit and the leading suppliers used.
The report highlights emerging preventative health trends, including the adoption of genomic testing, the analysis of DNA to identify risks before symptoms arise, and offers employers valuable insights into health cost management and future strategies across sectors.
The online quantitative survey was carried out in November 2025 among REBA Acumen subscribers - a closed knowledge exchange network of senior reward and benefits leaders from more than 550 employers.
It contains insights from a broad range of company sizes and industry sectors, including Lloyds Banking Group, Shell, Bloomberg, Google and Deliveroo.
The results are available in a data-rich report for REBA Acumen subscribers, which includes senior reward and benefits professionals from organisations such as Auto Trader, Baillie Gifford, Deloitte, Fieldfisher, Ocado, Sanofi and Warner Music.
