It finds that between 2023 and 2024, AI adoptions rose by 23 percentage points, but despite this, ROI on AI adoption remains limited, with cost savings of less than 10% being the norm where job functions have adopted AI.
Conversely, revenue increases of more than 5% are comparatively rare.

- Generative AI is expected to automate 27% of hours worked by 2030. In response to these changes, employers expect to retrain an average of 32% of their workforce in the coming years.
- 31% of respondents expect AI to reduce the overall size of their workforce, while 19% expect it to increase.
- More than 60% of respondents considered cybersecurity, compliance, privacy and inaccuracy to be relevant AI risks. But in all cases, the number of organisations tackling these issues is lower.
