Video tutorial: Personalisation – evolving from reward to experience

Personalisation is vital in a market that is evolving from reward to experience, according to David Dodd, consulting director at Thomsons Online Benefits.

Speaking at the REBA Innovation Day, he said that organisations needed to make the move from the traditional approach to benefits to a more personal experience.

“Now we are going to that next step which is on demand benefits,” he said. “It’s not just about reward and renumeration it’s about the full experience people have when they come into work,” he said.

Improving the workplace was about personalising the experience; using data and analytics and getting the best out of technology to drive the personalised approach, said Dodd.

He said that benefits for the individual matter – especially in the war for talent.
