A new way for companies to boost employee wellbeing at home
Named wellpass, the service gives teams pre-paid access to the 50+ wellness services on the Urban app, including massages, beauty treatments, fitness sessions, mindfulness classes and more. Users pay with credit provided in advance by their employers.

It’s clear that the traditional five-day working week in the office is no longer the norm.
“The pandemic has taken, and will continue to take, a toll on our wellbeing. It’s more important than ever that companies take care of their most valuable asset – their people.
“With wellpass, we wanted employees to be able to choose their favourite wellness services, encouraging them to break up workdays at home and take time out for their physical and mental wellbeing,” explains Tang.
Once signed up to wellpass, users can also select a wellbeing goal to receive tailored tips and advice from Urban pros, the app’s community of qualified wellness professionals who use Urban to connect with clients.
To help avoid unnecessary expense, companies on the scheme will only pay for the employees that actually book treatments.
Earlier this year, Urban Business launched the work from home community, a digital pop-up offering virtual wellness services in response to the coronavirus pandemic, which will also be available to book through wellpass.
