Ally Antell and Subashini M of Aviva on how to help employees become fit for an age of ambiguity

Ally Antell, UK health & protection – health propositions lead and Subashini M, UK health & protection – associate medical director, both from Aviva, discuss its latest Age of Ambiguity research on the blurring between work and home-life boundaries, how this can affect employee health and what this means for business.

Speaking at REBA's Employee Wellbeing Congress, Antell and Subashini M discussed how the Aviva research showed that at the start of the year 41% of employees felt the line between work and home life was becoming increasingly blurred, but that has now risen to more than 50% of people. They said that there is now an ambiguity over where work ends and home life begins, and employees must now be helped to become fit to deal with this 'age of ambiguity'.

Subashini M added that there has always been a blurring of work and home life but that the recent lockdown and increase in work from home has blurred this line further.
