Global workforce health is reaching a critical turning point as rising medical costs, fragmented care systems, and uneven access force employers to completely rethink their strategies.

REBA’s latest report Designing global health strategies that improve workforce resilience, in partnership with Marsh, details how organisations are shifting away from reactive, claims-based healthcare toward early detection, digital navigation tools, and targeted prevention to build long-term resilience and control spending.

To navigate this transition, the report offers practical, data-backed perspectives on digital health maturity across different international markets. It cuts through the market hype surrounding AI by focusing on grounded applications where technology genuinely delivers value, such as process automation, care navigation, and predictive analytics, while highlighting its current limitations.

The report, which is the second in a trilogy on turning workforce strain to workforce strength, gives multinational reward leaders a structured framework to guide their global strategy without getting lost in vendor noise.

Translating these high-level insights into action, real-world case studies from Fidelity International and HomeServe illustrate what effective implementation looks like in practice.

These examples highlight how to successfully integrate disparate data sets, overcome employee app fatigue, and establish inclusive global frameworks. Crucially, they demonstrate how to adapt overarching health strategies to fit local cultural and regulatory realities, providing a blueprint for sustainable global health strategy design.
