How Salary Exchange has relaunched as Caboodle

Salary Exchange, one of the UK's leading employee benefits providers, has taken the brave step of changing their company name to 'Caboodle' to reposition themselves in the employee benefits industry.

So why the drastic change?

In the employee benefits arena the phrases 'salary exchange' or 'salary sacrifice' are used to describe tax efficient benefits, like childcare vouchers and cycle to work schemes.

Changes in legislation and developments in the industry have allowed Salary Exchange to evolve their business model. They're known not only for their benefits but also for their 'Salary Extras' technology platform, used to host benefits and engage employees.

Their platform is well respected in the industry and is sold by other industry providers who they partner with. These partners and Salary Exchange's own clients are attracted by the built-in communication features and other integrated tools the platform boasts.

This year saw them winning an ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management, making them an even more attractive supplier for more security conscious employers.

Here's what they had to say about the change

Catherine Bennett, managing director and co-founder of Salary Exchange, says: "We decided to change our name to reposition ourselves in the UK employee benefits industry because we do much more than just salary sacrifice employee benefits."

"We have one of the biggest ranges of benefit schemes in the industry such as lifestyle, health and wellbeing, financial wellbeing benefits. And our unique Salary Extras benefits platform provides a whole host of communication and engagement tools - giving employers a valuable asset to help them improve employee engagement. In fact, you could say we provide the whole kit and caboodle to reward and engage your employees," she says.

So why 'Caboodle'?

"We wanted a name that's modern, future proof and hints of the service we provide," Sharon Smith, sales and marketing director at the company. 'Caboodle' means 'everything and more' which helps to tell the story that we do more than just employee benefits," she says.

The interlocking 'OO's' in our new logo form an infinity symbol, reflects continuous engagement between us and our clients and partners, as well as representing the engagement between employers and their employees."
