Survey: Employee Outlook: Spring 2017

The latest Employee Outlook survey from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Halogen Software has seen some positive results.

Employee outlook - spring 2017

Key findings:

  • Fewer employees believe it is likely they will lose their job.
  • There was an increase in net job satisfaction.
  • Engagement measures of employees’ influence over job, use of skills, motivation and effort have all risen.
  • Overall attitudes to senior leaders have also improved.

Although the survey had some positive findings, the CIPD warns that the decision to leave the European Union is likely to impact labour mobility and the way organisations attract and retain talent.
