Invitation-only event exploring how employment journeys and retirement is changing and how reward, benefits and pensions need to evolve to remain relevant, practical and effective.
The workplace pensions landscape is undergoing a major transformation, driven by the government’s ambitious reform agenda and its visions set out in the first phase of the Pensions Investment Review. From the Mansion House reforms, the Advice Guidance Boundary Review and the Value for Money framework to proposals such as Pot for Life and Small Pots consolidation, the shift is clear: the future of Defined Contribution (DC) contract-based pensions will be more transparent, more accountable and more focused on long-term outcomes for savers.
At the same time, wider macro trends are reshaping the pensions landscape. An ageing workforce, widening retirement savings gaps, increasing financial pressures on employees and economic uncertainty are forcing employers to rethink the role of pensions in their broader workforce and financial wellbeing strategies.
Designed to provide practical insights to support decision-making in a fast-moving regulatory environment, the REBA Future of Pensions Summit is an opportunity for employers to explore what the changes will mean in practice. Through employer case studies, spotlight sessions from industry experts and strategic workshops, this Summit will delve into the evolving responsibilities of employers, how to futureproof DC schemes against increasing scrutiny and the implications for scheme design, investment strategy, member engagement and financial wellbeing.
The Summit takes place at County Hall, situated in the heart of London.

Who will attend?
This is an invitation-only event* with key stakeholders invited who can contribute genuine insight and expertise on evolving retirement solutions.
*This invitation-only event is aimed specifically at senior reward and benefit directors with overall pensions responsibility. Many don't (and do not need to) have detailed knowledge that Pensions Managers used to have. However, they do need the big picture view of how pensions are changing, what the market shifts are, what changing legislation will mean for their workforce. Plus of course, how they balance the pensions budget within broader benefits and pay spend in order to drive HR and business objectives.
A fresh summit for benefits professionals. I picked up plenty of themes and tips and contacts with great people.
