Bright Horizons report: Modern Families Index – technology, software and fintech sector cut

This report draws on the Modern Families Index to focus on sector-specific findings in the Technology sector.

This year, 3,000 working parents/carers took part in Bright Horizon's Modern Families Index (MFI). As a whole, the Index shows that:

  • family life remains a top priority for working parents and carers
  • more employees feel that their organisation cares about their work and home balance
  • employees’ expectations of workplace support reflect both their priorities and the current economic climate.

This report focuses on sector-specific findings in the Technology sector and reflects on the results against the changing landscape of high growth during the pandemic years, and more recent layoffs in the industry among big brand names. The need for skilled talent however remains a priority for UK companies.

Discover first-hand insight, statistics and practical actions that employers can take to stay at the forefront of talent attraction and retention, by building inclusive, family-friendly policies.
