Just when you thought the ‘great resignation’ had peaked, a recent report from PWC says otherwise: 26% of employees say they plan to quit their job in the next 12 months, an increase of 19% from last year.

It’s safe to say, employers will most likely be battling retention and attraction in 2024 with a focus on turnover, talent shortages and skills gaps. The question is how can organisations operating in a tight budget environment engage and retain talent?

But there is a simple way to keep your employees committed this year – find out their goals (life, financial, work), and support them until they succeed. Nudge’s recent research revealed that 40% of employees are seeking guidance to help achieve their financial goals, yet only 56% believe they are unachievable. This outlines a big opportunity to help improve the lives of your employees - and keep them happy, hopeful and dedicated.
