Report: Workplace Wellbeing Report 2018

This report looks at four main areas: work environment, benefits, culture/HR policies and engagement. Premier has analysed data taken from its ongoing Wellbeing Appraisal which measures wellbeing provision through a range of questions and scoring mechanisms, enabling it to gain real insight into how its respondents are performing.

Key findings

The majority of employers are doing something when it comes to wellbeing, even if they do not currently recognise their approach as falling within the wellbeing remit.
Focus has shifted to employee wellbeing and there is ever growing recognition that investing in this area is good for a business’s bottom line as well as being good for employees.
The overall score for benefits provision was 35.5 per cent. This is at odds with the noise that is often made regarding benefit provision.
Overall employers scored 40.5 per cent for wellbeing strategies and provision across the four areas of work environment, benefits, culture/HR policies and engagement.
