REBA is delighted to launch the first independent Awards to benchmark and celebrate the pioneers of employee wellbeing. An Employee Wellbeing Award in 2018 will recognise and celebrate individual and organisational achievement. Winning will demonstrate to your workforce and to potential recruits that your organisation cares about the physical, mental, and financial wellbeing of employees: that you are implementing strategies that are making a difference and creating a workplace culture in which individuals can thrive.

The Employee Wellbeing Awards will represent industry recognition for the work that your organisation’s leadership, HR and benefits teams are doing to drive change and deliver a healthier workplace. REBA has crowdsourced nominations across all Awards Categories, asking members to nominate those individuals, teams and companies who they believe are leading the way in using wellbeing strategies and benefits to create positive working environments and increase staff engagement. All qualifying nominations are now being invited to enter. With categories designed to benchmark physical, mental, and financial wellbeing strategies, as well as the approaches to benefits and to social inclusion, you are also invited to enter your own case studies of achievement.
The Employee Wellbeing Awards are as much about celebrating great work, as they are about sharing best practice. The winners will be announced at an evening celebration at The Ham Yard Hotel in London on Thursday 8 February 2018: all finalists will also be invited to attend afternoon workshop sessions before the celebration, to provide an opportunity to share best practice and learn from other organisations’ experiences.

We invite you to enter if you believe you are doing excellent work from the list of categories below. The entry process is very simple, simply draft your entry using the entry template form and then ENTER HERE.

We invite you to nominate individuals who you feel qualify for the Employee Wellbeing Visionary Award, or The Employee Wellbeing Vangard Award. The nominatino process is very simple and will take you no longer than five minutes to complete

THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: PHYSICAL
This award will recognise those employers which have proactively put in place a well thought through strategy to encourage and promote physical health among their employees. The strategy may include initiatives to encourage positive behaviours. It may include initiatives to reduce negative behaviours. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate a joined-up strategy that is truly impacting on the physical wellbeing of employees.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: MENTAL
This award will recognise those employers which have proactively put in place a well thought through strategy to encourage and promote mental health among their employees. The strategy may include initiatives to support staff challenged by mental health issues, it may include initiatives to build resilience. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate a joined-up strategy that is truly impacting on the mental wellbeing of employees.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: FINANCIAL
This award will recognise those employers which have proactively put in place a well thought through strategy to encourage and promote financial wellness among their employees. The strategy may include initiatives to support staff with financial challenges; it may include initiatives to build financial resilience; it may include initiatives to help create employee wealth via the workplace. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate a joined-up strategy that is truly impacting on the financial wellness of employees.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: BENEFIT STRATEGIES
This award will recognise those employers which have worked to use the group insurances or other wellbeing benefits they offer as an effective part of their overall wellbeing strategy.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: SOCIAL INCLUSION
This award will recognise those employers which have a clear focus on ensuring their wellbeing strategies increase social inclusion. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate how they put in place wellbeing initiatives which take diversity within the workplace into consideration, support staff to stay in work, and create a workplace that encourages potential recruits into work, or back into work.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: LEADERSHIP & CULTURE
This award will celebrate employers which can demonstrate that they are a business which puts wellbeing at the heart of its culture, championed by its leadership. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate how wellbeing is used a core business strategy to create a thriving workforce and a thriving organisation.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD: INNOVATION
This award will honour employers who are evolving wellbeing strategies in a way that other employers can learn from. Winners of this award will be able to demonstrate how they have successfully implemented new ideas, initiatives or strategies to enhance wellbeing at their organisation.

THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING PINNACLE AWARD
This category cannot be entered, but instead will be awarded by the judges to employers showing excellence across all other categories.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING VISIONARY AWARD
We invite nominations for leaders and visionaries who are working to improve employee wellbeing within UK organisations. The nominees could be politicians, CEOs, industry leaders and wellbeing experts. Please nominate HERE and, in up to 400 words, please explain why you have nominated this person.
THE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING VANGUARD AWARD
We invite nominations for HR, reward or wellbeing professionals who are leading the way in how they implement and champion wellbeing within their organisations. Please nominate HERE and, in up to 400 words, please explain why you have nominated this person.
EMPLOYER CATEGORIES: HOW TO ENTER
- REBA will be inviting qualifying nominees to enter.
- You are also invited to nominate and enter your own teams and achievements.
- Use the appropriate entry template form for each category to craft your written entry for team approval. Each template asks you to explain your objectives, your strategy, the implementation process and the results you have seen. Then upload your entry, plus supporting materials, to our entry site.
- All entries must be submitted by Thursday 7 December 2017.
- All finalists will be invited to attend the Awards Workshops and Awards evening on Thursday 8 February 2018
- An independent Jury will review all entries to choose our final winners
