Co-founder & CEO
Dr Nick Taylor is the Co-Founder and CEO of Unmind.
From a young age, Nick had a deep fascination with the human mind. This passion guided him to volunteer as a Samaritan and then as a support worker for the mental health charity, Mind, before studying psychology and gaining his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Sheffield, and embarking on a career with the National Health Service as a clinical psychologist.
While leading a team in the NHS, Nick became interested in corporate wellness, and how organisations can benefit from looking after their employees. He realised there was a clear gap in the market for a platform that enabled organisations to offer employees proactive and preventative wellbeing support. It was this vision that led Nick to co-found Unmind in 2016.
Six years later, Unmind is a leading international workplace mental health platform offering 2.5 million employees access to expert tools for measuring, understanding and improving their wellbeing, while enabling organisations to drive real cultural change.
