Since 2017, employers with 250 or more employees have been required to report annually on their gender pay gap. But once they have gathered their data, what can organisations do to begin to close any gaps? 

Many factors are responsible for the gender pay gap. These include the impact of gendered occupational segregation, age, ethnicity and differences in work-life patterns (including the impact of taking time out of the labour market due to care responsibilities). 

This guide sets out a series of steps employers can take to address some of these themes.
