Five key challenges HR will face in the year ahead

The people challenge during uncertain times and how HR plan to tackle them

As we learn to live with the pandemic, HR leaders need to remain fleet of foot and ensure the policies and support they have in place will ensure their people remain engaged and ready to perform.

Edenred research shows that by offering a comprehensive wellbeing support and the right employee benefits, employees are likely to stay as 65% of employees say they are not planning to resign this year.

To provide your employees with the support that works, HR leaders must:

  • increase understanding of and support for employee health, wellbeing and work-life balance
  • provide employees with financial support to mitigate the cost of living crisis
  • make sure line managers are reskilled so they can lead and engage staff in the year ahead.
