Employee wellbeing is critical to the success of a business ultimately, according to Sheila Champion-Smeeth, EMEA total reward consultant at Cisco. "If you haven't got well people you haven't got good business results," she said.

"It's essential," said Roger Fairhead, VP people integration, Anheuser Bush InBev. He said in such competitive environments businesses need wellbeing for success. "Wellbeing is not just the decent thing to do it's essential for a high-performing workforce," he said.
