Medallia, Saint-Gobain, YouGov, Galliford Try on creating healthy workplace systems

A panel of employers at REBA's Wellbeing Congress discussed rethinking the reward and benefits strategies to create healthy workplace systems with productive workers.

Elle Hopkins head of total rewards EMEA & APAC at Medallia, Jorgen Pedersen vice president compensation & benefits and international mobility at Saint-Gobain, Josephina Smith global head of reward at You Gov and Vikki Skene HR director at Galliford Try plc talked about how their individual organisations are going about rethinking reward strategies in order to improve productivity in the workplace.

Josephina suggested that you could gauge if your organisation had a healthy workplace system by looking at the data available to see on the benefits people are using such as cycle to work schemes and gym memberships and also ensure the systems in place to allow employees to engage with those benefits are easy to use. 'What I would encourage people to do is hone in on their surveys, on engagement to see just how healthy your workforce is,' she added.
