Government papers: Consultation on measures to increase transparency in the UK labour market
It is seeking views from businesses, unions, employer associations, workers and other interested organisations and individuals on its proposals, which include:
- better understanding how written statements, which outline the employment relationship, are used
- extending the right to a written statement to “Limb (b) workers”
- investigating the extent to which people are currently aware of the Acas guidance on the rights of employees and workers and how to enforce them.
The consultation closes at 11.45pm on 23 May 2018.
