Aon Benefits Trends Survey 2019

Latest insights to be shared from the 2019 Aon Benefits Trends Survey reveals half of employers admit they don’t think their benefits offering is meeting their multi-generational workforce.

Aon Benefits Trends Survey 1

It finds a staggering 89% of firms say they will need to reconfigure their benefits packages to suit future generations entering the workforce.

Aon also found 199 out of the 200 employers it spoke to said their employees now expect more flexible working. Meanwhile 161 said employees now expect better awareness and handling of mental health issues.

However, despite these findings, worryingly, it also reveals:

  • 48% of respondents did not have a specific budget for their health and wellness programme
  • Nearly a third provide no financial education
  • 58% of employers still only give the statutory amount for maternity pay
