EAPA research: Securing the future of the EAP

This research into employee assistance programmes (EAPs) delves into how they can be best used as a powerful source of support

The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) latest report aims to raise awareness of how EAPs have evolved, and how the EAPA can best work together to make sure EAPs evolve in the right ways — as a powerful source of support and impact — for the future.

The research details how the EAP market has evolved, the challenges facing the industry such as increasing levels of service usage and referrals for counselling and higher employer expectations, as well as the opportunities available to the industry.

It concludes that EAPs should come together over the value and importance of services in supporting the UK workforce and improving the mental health of the population.
