How Lowell transformed its employee benefits strategy

Watch a case study video on how the employee benefits strategy at one of Europe’s largest credit management and litigation firms was updated

We recently helped update the employee benefits strategy at Lowell, one of Europe’s largest credit management and litigation firms. Lowell employs 4,000 people in eight countries, with 1,700 people in the UK.

The need

Lowell was keen to radically overhaul its employee benefits strategy, including the benefits offered. As part of the review, Lowell wanted to understand why certain benefits should be offered.

The company knew that the market it operates in can be challenging for employees. So the new proposition had to have wellbeing at its heart.

The previous technology solution simply wasn’t delivering on many levels. Lowell needed a platform that was streamlined, agile and future-proof; one that would grow with them and support the overall employee value proposition.

The result

We worked with Lowell to develop a new solution underpinned by our 4me platform. This led to an increase in employee engagement of more than 90%.

It also freed a significant amount of time that the HR and reward team had previously spent on day-to-day administration.

The feedback from employees has been extremely positive. This is especially pleasing given that the engagement boost was achieved in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
