Unum report: The employee wellbeing report

Including a survey of 500 employees and 503 HR professionals across the UK, the report examines the trends shaping workplace wellbeing.

It unveils three themes: there is a gap between the perceived wellbeing of employees by their employers; personalised, life-stage benefits are gaining traction, and despite a growth in wellbeing initiatives, mental health issues are harming productivity.

  • 1 in 3 employees struggling with mental health took no action to address it.
  • 57% of employers believe their current benefits have a positive impact on productivity.
