Megan Kille of Farfetch on building a mental health strategy

Megan Kille, people business partner at Farfetch, on building a mental health strategy using internal data and by re-evaluating their employee benefit provision.

Kille explains that, following an assessment of their wellbeing benefits, they decided to move from a reactive take on employee health and wellbeing, to a preventative position.

"We think that preventative strategies really help the full employee base, so we defined our three key pillars," she says.

Kille argues that the key to building a successful mental health strategy is to look at employee data and understand the organisation's need.

"Although it's really interesting to see what other businesses are doing or what you feel is the right thing to do, unless it's what your employee base needs then your engagement rates won't be as high," she says.
