REBA Thought Leaders: 3 top tips to use your management information to better understand staff

There are three key things to bear in mind when trying to use your management information to better understand your employees, according to Toria McCahill, group associate HR director, group functions and reward, BGL Group.

Watch Toria McCahill's interview in full.

She shared three tips. "Look at the demographics of your employees - using data you already have. Using that information is a basis for 'what's your reward strategy?' 'What's the make-up of your employees? That gives you the best starting point," she said.

Secondly she urged organisations to look at the benefit information that they have. "Look at the take-up and trends," she said. And finally she said to look at how employees are getting that information to understand how to best communicate to them.

McCahill is speaking at the 2017 REBA Innovation Day taking place on 23 November in London. To hear more from her and other expert speakers, reserve your place today.
