As the Labour government’s manifesto proposals start to translate into new employment policies and regulations, businesses will need to think beyond pay to sustain competitiveness. The rising National Living Wage along with enhanced employment rights, and increased redundancy protections has potentially far-reaching financial implications and unintended consequences for both employers and employees.

Join this workshop to explore how businesses can future-proof themselves by creating reward strategies that go beyond pay and focus in on protection and insurance benefits.

Discussion areas include:

  • How will changes to government employment policies and regulations financially impact both organisations and frontline workers, and what are the unintended consequences?
  • With financial constraints, what non-pay-related benefits (e.g., protection and insurance) can businesses offer to attract and retain talent? How can employers use these strategies to enhance their employee value proposition?
  • Enhanced redundancy protections and worker rights from day one create both opportunities and challenges. How can businesses adapt their recruitment strategies to ensure compliance while still maintaining flexibility and managing costs?
What will happen on the day:
