Benifex report: The Big Benefits Report 2025/2026

Based on interviews with more than 3,450 HR and reward professionals and employees covering seven global regions, this annual research finds that 79% of UK employers have increased their benefits spend over the last year.

A total of 81% of UK employers have ramped up investment in employee wellbeing in the last 12 months. This figure rises to 86% for global employers, with employees in South East Asia, India and the US particularly focused on benefits.

This reflects a shift towards benefits becoming the defining part of the employee value proposition.
