Lisa Aslam at Workday on the business drivers for offering gender-specific wellbeing benefits

Ahead of International Women’s Day 2023, Lisa Aslam, principal benefits manager at Workday, outlines why they offer gender-specific health and wellbeing benefits to their Workmates, and their plans for increasing support even further.

In this video, Aslam describes the support it currently offers women, from its global menopause policy to compassionate leave. It is also focused on supporting those who want to start a family and on promoting and supporting men’s health, as well as supporting its transgender employees.

Aslam also offers three key learnings when offering gender-specific wellbeing benefits.

This video follows REBA's recent gender-specific health event, with partners AXA Health, which welcomed reward, benefits and wellbeing specialists to discuss gender-specific health support.

During the morning attendees considered how this fundamental element of wellbeing is continuing to evolve to not only look at menopause and fertility, but to include men’s health and the mental and financial wellbeing considerations linked to gender health.
