Report: The Wellbeing Report from Aviva

Aviva’s report highlights the current condition of the nation’s health and aims to encourage the take-up of healthy habits to prevent issues and illness.

Key findings:

  • Just 46 per cent of UK adults rate their health and wellness as good or excellent. 20 per cent rated it as poor or very poor.
  • A little under a quarter of adults take no preventative measures to protect or improve their physical health, while 27 per cent take no precautions for their mental health.
  • Four out of 10 adults feel stressed most days, including 17 per cent who feel stressed every day.
  • Money worries was the biggest cause cited by those with conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress and insomnia (40 per cent).
