White paper: Thriving at Work Global Framework

Mental health stigma remains high in many countries and it is imperative that access to mental health support is improved. This Framework, developed using evidence and learning from across the global City Mental Health Alliance (CMHA) membership community, considers what works in practice, and has been informed by academic research, workplace reports and other resources from across the globe.

The Framework is based on three global pillars:

  1. Create a culture of wellbeing and psychological safety.
  2. Develop a mentally healthy working environment.
  3. Provide and signpost to accessible resources, tools and support.

This Framework is intended for organisations that are either seeking to develop global mental health and wellbeing approaches or as a baseline for the development of programmes of work in countries and/or cities that are starting their journey.
